The body of this pen is Ebonite, then several layers of Urushi and Raden was applied and finally the Eggshell. (This process takes many hours and weeks as each layer applied has to be dry before another is applied, on this pen alone over 30 layers of Urushi and Raden was applied)
The finish product is stunning.
