Queen Elizabeth II first granted Parker a Royal Warrant in 1962 and this was
followed in 1990 by the granting of a Royal Warrant by Prince Charles, the Prince of
Wales.
This has now been re-affirmed by King Charles III in May 2024. To be granted
a warrant, the recipient must be committed to the highest standards of service,
quality, excellence and craftsmanship, and have made significant supplies to the
Royal Household during the previous seven years
As holders of the Royal Warrant, Parker supplied pens to the Royal Household,
some for members of the Royal Family, some for staff and some as gifts for visiting
dignitaries.
This set was made for the late Queen’s Elizabeth II personal and official use.
The only other set is probably in the Parker private museum in London which opened in 2015.
I have never seen another set in the open market.
