This pen features an exquisite hallmarked Sterling vermeil overlay crafted by renowned Lausanne goldsmith Edouard Jud, elegantly inspired by the vineyard-covered landscapes of the Swiss Riviera along the shores of Lake Geneva. Caran d'Ache pays tribute to this area with this finely crafted limited edition, restricted to just 999 pieces worldwide—this one being number 227 (number on the top of the cap).

The pen’s cap and barrel are made of polished red resin and adorned with a meticulously sculpted sterling silver vermeil overlay. The filigree illustrates the gorgeous grape vine scene with extraordinary detail—each figure hand-finished to create depth, texture, and narrative.

This overlay was designed by Edouard Jud, a master artisan from a distinguished lineage of Swiss craftsmen, whose expertise brings a unique vibrancy to each pen. The barrel banding is marked with, "Caran d'Ache Swiss Made Vermeil 925 with the CdA logo."

Nib & Filling System:

The fountain pen features an 18K gold nib, marked “Caran d’Ache 18K/750” and designated Medium. The iridium tipping measures approximately .78mm when measured with digital calipers.
