Leonardo Momento Magico Emerald Fountain Pen in Cursive Smooth Italic Broad Nib Factory Grind.

Every pen enthusiast knows that when they've found the right pen, the moment the nib touches paper is like magic. This experience is the focus of Leonardo Officina's collection, called the "Momento Magico." After much experimentation in their workshop based in Naples, Italy, Leonardo introduces their most affordable, piston-filling fountain pen yet.

The Leonardo Momento Magico has a 1.5ml capacity with a large ink window to view the current ink level. When using Leonardo's piston removal tool (sold separately), you may disassemble the piston mechanism from the body to fully clean and maintenance the pen.

The Momento Magico is similar in shape and style to the original Momento Zero with a few alterations. Instead of concentric cap rings, the Magico has a wide cap band decorated with a cut-out art deco design. The grip section has a shape that gently tapers and flares out at the end. Leonardo outfits all Magico fountain pens with a no. 6 size nib made by Jowo (Germany).

And the story goes on … A family tradition. Leonardo is a forge, a laboratory where experience and craftsmanship are mixed giving life to “pleasure”, the pleasure of writing. Over 45 years of experience in the field of writing instruments, handed down from father to son, from generation to generation. Leonardo Officina Italiana holds a special place in the heart of Armando Simoni Club pens, because the owners of both companies share a history and a passion for pens. In 1982 Ciro Matrone, one of the founders of the Delta pen company.  Almost 40 years later, Ciro’s son Salvatore makes the Armando Simoni Club pens in Naples, Italy – and now, he has launched his own brand: Leonardo Officina Italiana. This brand represents everything we love: handmade Italian pens, beautiful materials, great nibs, and a true passion for pens. We are happy to have Salvatore making Bespoke Pens for St Johns Pens

Positivity and desire to start with a great enthusiasm driven by passion for writing instruments and forty years of experience in creating them. A collection inspired by the Italian vintage pen styles known throughout the world, well balanced in size and in metal details.
