About: Jose Braga

Jose C. de Braga was a Legendary Canadian Knife Maker known for his extraordinary, futuristic designs.

He was considered a multi-faceted and talented artist with a particular focus on modern and unique knife creations.

He did most of the overlay on Grayson Tighe’s 1/1 Fountain Pens (Unfortunately he is no longer with us) but his works live on.

About Grayson Tighe:

He founded his writing instrument company in 2000, (The youngest at his age to have done it) and within a short short period of time he had become recognised worldwide for his precision craftsmanship, extraordinary use of materials and exquisite engraving. His limited edition and one-of-a kind luxury pens have earned him a lot of respect, as well as the role of exclusive pen maker for Blancpain the Swiss timepiece brand, for whom he has produced several models with decorative details indigenous to fine watchmaking.

Art is in Tighe’s blood. His father is the renowned knife designer and producer Brian Tighe and Grayson learned much of his skill almost literally at his knee. The young entrepreneur then transformed his genetic predilection and hands-on training as a youth into something uniquely his own, creating a signature style that is rare, modern and inimitable.
