Delta Pens

In 1982 a new innovative Italian writing instruments factory was established through the partnership of Nino Marino, Ciro Matrone and Mario Muscente, named Delta. In the early years, the company's resources were devoted to producing writing instruments with precious metals, and, in order to emulate popular pen models from the '20s and '30s, the general use of celluloid and ebonite in Delta pen manufacture plunged the company into new international markets. Delta reintroduced the lever-filling systems at a time when others were using converters, cartridges and twist-filling systems. The lateral lever-filling system is a very efficient system, which doesn't require the barrel of the pen or the barrel's blind cap to be unscrewed to charge the pen with ink. Of course this precious filling system is reserved to special limited editions only.
