Classic Pens LR1 Eagle Chief Fountain Pen.

This pen is born from a collaboration between Andreas Lambrou (Classic Pens, Inc) and Master Artisan Paul Rossi.

Released in 2001, it features a custom 925 Sterling Silver Overlay on Parker Duofold Centennial Base Pen.

The LR (which spans LR1 through LR5) is celebrated for it’s highly detailed Silver overlays.

The LR1 is designated as the Eagle Chief model, it’s intricate barrel and cap overlay depicts a Native American Chief adorned with a traditional feather headdress and spear, while the cap features an eagle soaring in flight.

Paul had an interest in indigenous American Indian Art & Culture, he was drawn to their creativity and spirituality.

He went to Pow Wows and Art Shows and had many friends among the Native American Community, this was his inspiration for the Warrior Chief Overlay Fountain Pens.

Paul Rossi was a multi-talented craftsman. He began to make things at an early age, in his native Switzerland. As a teenager, he chose to acquire the finest writing instrument his money could buy, at the local stationary store, Quality and craftsmanship have always been his goals.

Paul's handcrafted pens are admired and sought by collectors throughout the world.

Rossi was an extremely talented independent pen maker.

He was head and shoulders above his contemporaries, he made pens that many independent pen makers only dream of making.

A one in a lifetime Master Craftsman.

He made one off precision parts for NASA through a 3rd party company (That was how good he was)

Unfortunately Paul passed away in June 2021

Paul Rossi is an artist, the likes of whom we may never see again, he is an artist who used the pen as his canvas.
