Montblanc Meisterstuck Great Masters Pirelli Limited Edition 1872 Fountain Pen

Part of the Great Masters series, this pen pays tribute to the legendary tyre manufacturers, Pirelli.

The Pirelli craftsmen are known as "sgorbiatori", who hand-craft tyre patterns, with each prototype taking many days to create. The cap and barrel are finished in rubber, with an embossed pattern which is inspired by designs in the Pirelli archive.

The cap finial and barrel cone have a striking red ring, with the trim being ruthenium-coated.

The Montblanc snowcap emblem is crafted from mother-of-pearl.

Inspired by a historic graphic treatment of the PIRELLI logo, dating back to 1966, the cap and barrel of the Meisterstück Great Masters Pirelli Limited Edition 1872 are crafted from black rubber, while the narrow red rings add a dynamic accent to the black cone and cap top, which is crowned by the Montblanc emblem in precious mother-of-pearl.
