The Lalique Glass and Crystal Works established its reputation as the preeminent maker of fine art glass during the Belle Epoque. The acclaimed company collaborated with Montblanc, the world's foremost maker of fine writing instruments, to create this limited edition set of writing accessories in crystal with gold-plated sterling silver accents. The set comprises a fountain pen holder, an inkwell and a rocker-style blotter.

The set was issued in 1991, a year before the first Patron and Art and Writers Series releases, making this one of the earliest Montblanc limited editions.
